Hey y’all !
Hope everyone’s Blogging is going well.
Here’s my Challenge:
I invite everyone to my blog to post a comment with
their “Librarian’s TopTen Books of All Time”
Name your own personal top ten books and lets see how many duplicates we get in our librarians’ lists!
Thanks!
Rosey : )
Here goes, and in no particular order;
1. Memoirs of a Geisha
2. The Christmas Kitten by Ruth Carroll (1971)
3. Little Women
4. My Brother Martin
5. Charlotte’s Web
6. Sense and Sensibility
7. Roget’s Thesaurus
8. Finding Forrester
9. Tuesdays With Morrie
10. The Landry News
And as Lilly said, “For Now….”
Instead of The Landry News, I would add
10. A Tree That Grows in Brooklyn.
I finally got to twitter. It’s an interesting concept, and I tried it out with my husband. It’s not something I would use on a regular basis, because I am busy. My cousin has a face book page and I noticed it has a component that does what twitter does. On Christmas Eve, it was fun to find out that she was busy making a last minute gift – a sweater. It feels as though twitter is a combination of text messaging and IMing.
