Congratulations and looking forward to participating in this attempt to drag us into the 21st century. — Pam
I’m all ready to play & learn!
Thanks John and all the staff at WLS – you are a shining star!
- Kate
I’m excited to take on this tutorial, thank so much, John! We need someone like you( for instance, White House) to wake up to the high tech reality of our young users.
Teresa
I’m on board…thanks for offering this! Elise
I’m on board too….thank you. Anne
I didn’t realize we were supposed to comment here, but here I am.
I’m here too! Mercy/WLS
Thanks, John, for your words of encouragement. It took a little trial and error, but I think I’m on now.
Terry

It has taken me a bit of time, but I have arrived!

Oh hai! Sorry I’m late!
I’m hoping this weeks assignment won’t be as stressful as last weeks. It’s been fun reading everyone’s comments on the Participants page.
Hi — I would like to use my existing blog at http://www.henhudfreeteens.blogspot.com. I will not allow my comments to be too personal — but no one reads my blog, anyway…so you all will really be my only audience! Elise
Thanks to John and everyone at WLS. I’m up and running, but still puzzling over some design things. Finally figured out how to put a picture in my post. Progress!
I think I just went around my elbow to get to my thumb, but I see that I was supposed to have commented here, so I’m commenting!
And I want to join those who have thanked John for encouraging us to take this plunge into the 21st century. I’ve read blogs and responded to blogs, but I never thought I’d actually HAVE a blog!

Hi, everybody! I just joined, and ALSO didn’t know I was supposed to leave a comment — but here I am.
And thank you, John — it’s been fun and useful for me, and that stuff I wrote about Geek Speak does NOT apply to you!
Jumping in feet first. Here goes! AMA
Okay – now I have a fourth blog! Help! But here I am. Going to do thing one now-
Hi all- What fun….I have done this trip through Web 2.0 before but am re-doing much of it to keep up my cyber-skills!
Check out my Blog at Blogspot (I think I’m the only one not on wordpress.com) Enjoy the holidays upcoming and be safe and well!
I just want to thank John again for this wonderful learning expereince! I’m a relative techie but always thought I’m a generation older than the social networking gen. More likely I’m still utilize most of what I learn to librarianship, thank goodness now I feel more literate to the new communication tools!
I like the new WordPress interface. It’s more user-friendly than the old one.
Hi, Anne!
You know what? I agree — it’s nice to have everything within easy readh!
Of course, I got a bit confused at first — but really, it’s quite user-friendly.
Change is good! (sometimes)
I don’t know about you, but I have trouble keeping all my various ID’s and passwords straight. I have 3 emails, twitter, 2 blogs, an Amazon account, and probably several more that I’ve lost track of. Who has a good system to keep all this straight? Appreciate some advice.
Better late than never–finally on the bandwagon and having a lot of fun! Teresa CHA
